How much does Box Class cost?
Our classes are competitive. Contact us for a price list.

Do I have to come with a partner?
No. Your trainer will pair you up with someone of similar fitness/experience.

How long do classes go for?
Group classes go for 1 hour (except lunch time classes they go for 50 minutes). Personal Box Class training sessions go for 45 minutes.

Is it all boxing or do you do other stuff?
Classes consist of real boxing combination’s used by real boxers and we’ll teach you correct boxing technique. You can also expect other exercises like pushups, squats, lunges, sit-ups and intermitted running to give you a full body workout.

Do you supply boxing equipment?
Box Class supply boxing gloves and pads. For new participants, it’s compulsory to purchase inners and hand wraps unless already owned. Hand wraps along with gloves, pads and inners can be purchased at the shop. I’ve never boxed in my life.

Will I be able to do it?
Yes. Boxing is actually easier for a lot of people than running, especially for those with excess weight. Box Class trainers have never come across anyone who can’t box. However, for group classes, a certain fitness level is required. If you haven’t exercised in a long time, you should, perhaps consider a 1-on-1 personal sessions to bring you up to speed with the rest of the class. Contact us to discuss your fitness requirements. how does that work?
We require 7 people to start a new Box Class. We service most locations around Australia and will do our best to meet your time/day preferences. If you haven’t quite got enough people to start a group, contact us and we will try and find some like minded people to make up the numbers. In fact, we won’t rest until we have a class up and running at your preferred location. I have bad knees, bad back or some type of injury;

Can I still be involved in the class?
Of course you can. After assessment of your injury, your trainer can instruct an alternative suitable exercise to whatever you are not able to do. However please consult your doctor for advice as Box Class trainers cannot diagnose injuries.

Do you do any Kick Boxing?
No.

What happens if it rains?
Most locations have shelter. In the circumstance where there is no shelter and the weather is extreme, you will receive notification by email and sms at least 1 hour before the class to postpone. A suitable make up class will be scheduled.

What benefits will I see?
Weight loss, muscle tone and increased cardio vascular fitness. Box Class is a cardio and muscular work-out for the whole body. View Why Boxing for more information on this. Is there anything to be cautious of? Weak wrists are probably the main thing that might present a problem. Correct technique will minimise the chance of injury. If this is a concern, talk to your trainer or consider a couple of sessions with one of our personal trainers to help you out. We also strongly suggest hand wraps to protect wrists and knuckles. Hand wraps along with gloves, pads and inners can be purchased at the shop.

Will I get hurt?
There is absolutely no body-to-body contact, so any risk is minimal.

What will I need to bring?
A water bottle is a must, hand wraps, inners and a towel (optional). Also, clothing that you feel comfortable exercising in.

How long until I see results?
If you do two classes a week for a month you will definitely notice a difference in weight and tone.
